Dr. Nicole Bruno knew from a very young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian and knew that it didn’t consist of just healing animals but also putting them to sleep. She started by volunteering at local animal shelters and animal hospitals to build up her expertise in working with animals. The experience benefited her once she applied to college and later in vet school.

Dr. Nicole Bruno states that most of her day consists of checking blood tests, taking x-rays, and contacting pet owners. She hasn’t chosen any specific field to specialize in, but she enjoys dental work, medicine, and dermatology.

What kind of vet would you be?.
